Luke Morrow is a sixth-year Santa Rosa Junior College student majoring in broadcast journalism. Now in his second semester at The Oak Leaf, Luke is the news editor. He hopes to transfer to CSU Fresno or CSU Northridge in fall 2020 to pursue his passion for political, environmental and global broadcast news.

Four Pliny the Younger fans from San Diego — (left to right) David Murphy, Scott Humphry, Scott Stephenson and Jason Duhn — celebrate their first sips of the world-renowned beer Feb. 7 at the Windsor RRBC. The group has been drinking the beer for several years at Haven Gastro Pub, a small bar in Orange, California, but this year they journeyed to the source for Murphy's 50th birthday.

This year, RRBC released Pliny the Younger in bottles for the first time. Due to quantity constraints, the brewery limits sales to two bottles per person.

RRBC owner, Natalie Cilurzo, enthusiastically flips the restaurant-bar sign to "OPEN" at their brewery headquarters. According to Cilurzo, this year's turnout for the yearly release of Pliny the Younger at their flagship location is notably larger than in years past.

The novel coronavirus is a zoonotic virus originating in animals. The virus is believed to have been transmitted to humans at an open-air market in China towards the end of 2019. Sonoma County Department of Health and SRJC Student Health Services are advising precautions despite the "low risk" of the virus spreading from the seven confirmed cases in California.
