Santa Rosa Junior College Men’s Soccer beat Fullerton College 3-2 at home Saturday for their fourth straight win.
Freshman Adrian Fontanelli scored first for the JC, hitting the right side of the net just inside the post. SRJC held a 1-0 lead going into halftime.
After the half, Fullerton came out hot and scored back to back goals. The 2-1 deficit ignited the Bear Cubs and midfielder Rigo Barragan who scored fast to tie the game.
The game winning goal came in the 63 minute on an Alan Sanchez pass to Carlos Lemus. Sanchez set up a perfect pass which Lemus seamlessly caught and hammered into the goal.
League play opens for the Bear Cubs against Modesto College at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 at SRJC.
