Review
Piner Cafe is known for the best comfort food in Santa Rosa, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Portions are large and filling, and they come at affordable prices.
The bacon and eggs dish arrives with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and sourdough toast. The eggs and hash browns lack some seasoning, but the bacon is perfectly cooked — crispy and very flavorful. The eggs also have a good consistency, and the hash browns are nice and crispy.
The french toast is tasty. It could be a bit crunchier though. It also could benefit from some more powdered sugar to add to its sweetness.
The Denver omelet has really good flavors with the ingredients tasting fresh. The breakfast burrito however, consists of mainly eggs and lacks some serious flavor. It barely has any potatoes in it, and could use some salsa or something to give it a kick.
Overall, Piner Cafe is your classic American breakfast. It consists of heavy breakfast foods, so you are bound to finish a meal full. It feels very satisfying and you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommended for an affordable Sunday brunch.
