The Men’s Water Polo team lost 17-5 against Sierra College Sept. 25 and are now 0-10. The Bear Cubs lost their starting goalie to injury. The team did improve in some areas, lead by captain C.J. Chappel. Not only is he team captain, his performances improved as well in the two meters. “We had a strong first quarter,” Chappel said. After the first quarter it was 3-2 Sierra.“[The] team is rapidly improving” said Coach Tyler Denzie. Issac Maximov is one of the rookies on the team. “It’s been an exciting new experience, learning process; I’m excited for the future,” Maximov said.
