Santa Rosa Junior College President Dr. Angélica Garcia handed over presidential duties to Vice President Kate Jolley while she is on medical leave.
On March 25, Garcia’s administrative team announced via email that she would be stepping away to undergo and recover from knee surgery. Her return date has not yet been disclosed.
Jolley will serve as acting president until further notice, working with the administrative team to oversee district operations.
“I have full confidence in our vice president,” Garcia said before taking leave.
