Blind Scream Haunted House returns from the dead its tenth consecutive year on Oct. 11 with a new location by Santa Rosa Plaza.
Blind Scream will introduce a new haunted house this year. “Witch House,” is a new direction for Blind Scream while “Lil Horrus Fun House” returns alongside it.
“We don’t expect to be the scariest, but for you to have [memories] to go home with ,” said Judy Walker, co-owner of Blind Scream Haunted House.
“Lil Horrus Fun House” is set to be interactive with a moving vortex, UV lighting and more for a different experience than last year.
The inspiration for “Witch House” came from Walker’s visit to a haunted house expo and seeing a low number of witch themes.
“We really haven’t seen many haunted houses with a witch theme. It’s time, the area is ready for it,” Walker said.
Blind Scream’s new location, at 98 Santa Rosa Plaza, what used to be Sears Auto Center. The new building is said to be filled with great artwork and more theatrics than the previous location in Rohnert Park.
Tickets range between $15 to $35, and are available on their website taking most major credit cards, as well as cash only at the door. An ATM is available at the house.
Blind Scream opens its door at 7 p.m. on Oct. 11.
