The readiness conference and preliminary hearing against alleged SRJC rape suspect Marco DeAnda-Vargas has been postponed to April 23 and April 25 respectively. Both begin at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 1. The alleged rape took place on campus March 15.
DeAnda-Vargas, 30, remains in custody since his arrest March 19 and is being held on three counts: rape by force/fear/etc, sodomy by use of force and sexual penetration against will, according to Sonoma County’s criminal records.
DeAnda-Vargas’ bail is set at $300,000.
