Re-entry student Pamela Jean Bowers, 61, passed away Oct. 25 after suffering a heart attack at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Emergency responders took Bowers to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital to try and resuscitate her, but she never regained consciousness.

Bowers returned to SRJC the summer of 2008 after ten years without education. She was in the process of earning an Administrative Assistant certificate.

SRJC established a memorial scholarship in Bowers’ name. Donations can be made to the SRJC Foundation.
