Jose Gonzalez, Multimedia/ Spanish Editor
Jose Gonzales is a Journalism major in his fourth year at Santa Rosa Junior College. In his 5th semester at the Oak Leaf, Jose is Multimedia and Spanish editor. Jose faces difficulties with writing, but compensates with his multimedia editing skills. Even with his writing difficulties he still strives for success and self-improvement. Jose will be the first of his family to graduate from college with an Associates degree and hopes to find a job in the Entertainment industry that will pay him enough to take care of him and his family.
La Reva Myles, Reporter
La Reva Myles (she/her) is a student at SRJC who has earned an associates degrees in digital filmmaking, digital journalism and film studies and looks forward to earning a master’s degree in journalism/filmmaking at University of Southern California in 2022/2023. Her career goals are to write, direct and produce a syndicated country music showcase for African-Americans not currently represented in country music, syndicated country living lifestyle and country music radio programming. She was born into a family of artists and has been a real estate broker, singer, songwriter and music event producer for over 25 years.
Riley Palmer, Co-Editor-in-Chief
Riley Palmer is in her third year at SRJC. After Fall 2019, Palmer will graduate with an AA-T in journalism and AA in humanities. In her spare time, Palmer enjoys hiking up Sonoma County mountains, experimenting with new fashion trends, writing for enjoyment and chatting it up with new people.
