Santa Rosa Junior College’s Fashion Studies Program asks community members to bring their “glitz and glamor” to its annual spring fashion show, “Cinema Paradiso,” at 6 p.m. this Thursday at Petaluma’s Ellis Auditorium.
The “Hollywood Cinema”-themed event will showcase garments designed and modeled by students. After the runway portion of the fashion show the program will announce winners from its “Prints Please” design contest, in which student contestants were asked to create new and creative designs using multiple prints or patterns.
The Fashion Studies program has held a spring fashion show for several years, and footage of previous events can be found on the program’s website.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 6 p.m. More information can be found here.
